There's a reason if they call it "pizza express": the service is incredibly fast! Our starters were very good, pizza nice as well but definitely too thin in my opinion. The kosovan waiter who served us was amazing, polite and warm. All in all good experience but we paid half price because of our tastecard, not sure pizzas are worthy... More

I have to admit that I wasn't expecting much from my first trip to Pizza Express Jazz Club, but from the minute we arrived we were incredibly well looked after by staff, saw an amazing show (thanks to the talents of Aubrey Logan and her incredible band) and enjoyed some great food. I'll definitely be back.

This is about as close as you can get to a New York Jazz Club in London. Cool atmosphere great jazz and OK food. As someone who visited jazz clubs all over the world I don't think you will be disappointed.

I visited this venue for my father-in laws birthday. I was sceptical before going thinking it would be naff but actually you did get a good vibe from the venue. The added extra was the good Pizza. The only issue was that we were given our food during the first set. We had (what I considered to be) normal conversations... More

We had recently been to Ronnie Scott's and wanted some more live music with friends before we returned to Australia. Most venues seemed to be fully booked and when I saw pizza express was offering jazz I thought there must be a mistake. But it is true. You can enjoy a pizza (including gluten free) while enjoying live jazz. Only... More

Visited here on a Sunday evening. Lovely atmosphere downstairs in the Jazz Club. Music was superb and intimate venue. We didn't eat as we'd had a pre-theatre meal but it was usual pizza express fayre if you wanted to eat.

Pizza Express Jazz Club is a cabaret style jazz club in Dean street; Soho. We saw there the solo show of the very talented young bass player and multi-instrumentalist Adam Ben Ezra, during an early afternoon performance of London Jazz Festival. The main Pizza Express restaurant is at street level, and after entering, you have to walk down, to the... More

I saw Ian Shaw and the Phil Ware Trio here last night and it was a terrific evening. This basement jazz club is intimate, has great views and amazing acoustics. The food is standard over priced Pizza Express fare and the drinks are on the high side. Service is excellent though and in truth, this place knocks spots off Ronnie... More

I visited pizza express on Monday evening with my wife and children and was served by a very flamboyant extravagant Waiter his name is Marcus. He made our evening throughly enjoyable with great recommendations on red wine and food. Nothing was too much for him. Highly recommended this place even if it's just for the service.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
