Front row beds

What a place! Perfect for a date night. We booked the front row beds and they were so comfortable! A different night out, and not ridiculously overpriced. Can't wait to go back.

We went to see Beauty and the Beast this evening. We have been coming to the Electric for many years, and it is of course gorgeous, with a wonderful atmosphere and such helpful staff who sorted out the food for us. However, there is definitely a mice problem! My son was sitting on front row bed A12, and a mouse... More

We came here on Sunday for the 2pm showing at Portobello Electric Cinema. Prior to the film we had lunch in Nottinghill as opposed to The Diner (restaurant next door owned by EC) and we were so glad we did as the food looked super greasy, 'fast foody' and it was extremely expensive too! (After the movie we went back... More

Sat in a very comfortable armchair with foot rest which contains a cashmere blanket to use during the film. Food & drink available. Beautiful cinema and I just wish Soho House would open one in Manchester!!

Booked as a surprise, this was such a fantastic experience. We were in the armchairs but you could have had beds or sofas. When you entered the room, it just had a lovely, cosy feel and it was nice to just do something a little bit different and 'special'. Would highly recommend.

Booked a ticket for 28th Feb to see a cure for wellness, film was good, back sofa lovely but several times throughout the film me and my partner kept seeing dark shapes moving across the floor down the side aisles. At first we thought it was a trick of the light but when the lights were turned on at the... More

I bought my fiancé a voucher for a sofa at Electric Cinema for Christmas. There are only 3 sofas so we found this was often sold out so today we just booked 2 armchairs for 50 Shades Darker. The cinema is gorgeous - like a classic theatre. The seats are really comfortable, equipped with a foot stool, table for drinks,... More

What a hidden gem! This is what going to the cinema should be like, big comfy seats, and as this was one of the special screenings we had food at our seats and best of all, a bottle of wine with GLASSES!! Even thou the bar staff seemed a bit confused and not very organised this did not spoil this... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
