Wimbledon is a great little suburb with the feel of quaint English village. Easily accessible by train.

I was fortunate to have gone to Centre court and Court 1 for some key games during Wimbledon I also lived in Southfields (where it is) for many years Great venue, great events, do it if you can without hesitation

One of my highlights of visiting during Wimbledon although extremely difficult to obtain tickets nowadays. Can follow the 'QUEUE' system to purchase ground tickets but no guarantee. The atmosphere is great and certainly a must do if you are a tennis fan.

If you're any sort of tennis fan -- go to Wimbledon. Yes, it's expensive if you buy tickets ahead of time but so good. Buy debenture tickets the previous fall and be guaranteed seating in Centre Court or Court #1. Alternative plan is to stand...More

it always depends on the match for the day - if it is Andy M. - no way otherwise try the earlier matches live and watch the finals in the comfort of drink food and friends
