We were staying at a friends flat not far from the famous Abbey Road crossing....which was constantly been bombarded by tourists....amusing to watch. It feels like a fairly safe and fairly friendly area......it is was very upmarket around us....there are of course pockets of “normalness”...More

Very pretty little garden with summer chairs out and beautifully groomed flowers that was a riot in vibrant colours. Definitely worth a visit.

St John's Wood is good to visit if you are a Beatles and Cricket fan. Abbey Road and Lords are very close and the High Street shops are very luxurious. Nice area. Good underground.

Very Pleasant, convenient area. Kept clean. Exterior of tube station one of the nicest I have been to. Close to Abbey Road (famous crossing). Some good places for coffee etc and a few good restaurants. Rather up market boutiques - not my style!

We happened on this a few weeks ago. The high Street was closed to traffic, and a great collection of classic cars lined up. A local event, with blessed weather. Keep it in the diary for next year
