One Canada Square, the official title of the tower, is the second-tallest building in the UK (the tallest is The Shard). It has fifty floors and a distinctive pyramid roof which is itself forty meters high. It is an iconic building in the second business district of London.

Maybe from outside it is not something special but from above the views are impressive. You can see the whole London city. Amazing.

Not much to say really other than its an iconic tower in London. I personally think it's pretty amazing and the redevelopment of canary wharf has been great over the last 15yrs or so to a real financial centre, plus there are loads of shops and restaurants to cater for every need. One Canada Square is worth seeing if you... More

A have to visit to an iconic location where fortunes (some Canadian) have been made and lost in building were the rent is only affordable if tax deductible. BTW the trip from DTL by bus an experience in its self.

It is pointless coming here just to see the 1 cananda square building, as standing at the bottom, you can't really see it. You get a much better view from the quayside. This building is not open to the public, which is a shame, because I imagine the view from the top to be amazing (but there are other high... More

Now called One Canary Square, This skyscraper was the tallest building in the United Kingdom from 1990 to 2010, standing at 235 m above ground level[16] and containing 50 storeys. It was the flagship of the Bronfsman brothers when they renovated the Canary Wharf area, until they went bankrupt. The flashing aircraft beacon on the top of the building distinguishes... More

Some of the reviews here are for Canary Wharf, not for this tower which is correctly named One Canada Square. Canary Wharf has a separate site for reviews. It was the tallest skyscraper in London for many years following its completion in 1991. The developers went bust and it stood rather alone and isolated for several years. Although there are... You can see Canary Wharf Tower / One Canada Square from a very long way away. The flashing aircraft beacon on the pyramid at the very top distinguishes it from all the other skyscrapers. If you are driving towards London, even if you are flying into the city you cant miss it. It announces you are almost there. At 770ft... More

The Canary Wharf Tower (One Canada Square) is one of the most iconic buildings in London. Standing 770ft tall and with 50 floors, it used to be the tallest building in London. Designed by Cesar Pelli (Petronas Twin Towers), it is a beautiful piece of architecture which has a distinct pyramid shaped pinnacle and is worth taking a look at... More
