I was privileged to be able to see Ghost Dances upon its revival by the Rambert. I first saw this in the 1980s and it was as powerful, fluid, emotional as before! Add to this the fact that the Wells has excellent sight lines and...More

THE centre for contemporary dance in the UK. "The Wells" has a long history but is currently a modern theatre offering the best dance shows in the world.

Fabulous show. Brilliant choreography by Matthew Bourne, with a generous sprinkling of humour. Amazing dancers.

Amazing show! Very entertaining, execution is very good. I love it when they all dance together and perform the routine all at the same time, no miss! My fave would be the bathing scene and Paris scene. I can watch it again and won't get...More

This is a revival of some earlier vignettes from as far back as 30 years and it was lovely to see them. It's very u derstandable that all Matthew Bourne's productions are sold out. This was very entertaining - lots of humour, lots of older...More

Good views and comfortable seats for a beautiful performance. There are plenty of restaurants nearby for a pre or post performance meal. It is a short walk from the tube and car parking nearby.

I give this 3* because I'm balancing out the venue versus the programme. The venue is good and the ballet always / usually interesting, but last night I bought a programme for Tree of Codes, as it's a new ballet. At £5 it had to...More

I have to say the best seats we have found are in the Upper Circle row B or C. The view is excellent, especially from the middle seats, and the prices less - so you can go more often.

We made the mistake of booking tickets at the sides and didn't realise that you had to be over 16 to use them as the seats are bar stools on the 1st or 2nd tier. We only realised when we got there but was able to change... More
