After a walk round Hampstead Heath, it is lovely to walk up the hill to Parliament Hill Fields to feel the wind in your face and to enjoy the best view of London short of going up the Shard...this one is free!

This is the Southern most part of Hampstead Heath. There is an adventure playground for young children as well as a huge staffed paddling pool. The cafe nearby is superb. If you walk up the hill the view into London is amazing.

The view over London is amazing. This place is kind of a hidden gem. The best time to take pictures is one hour bevor sunset.
