Thank you to all the staff who were helpful to us when we went in for a swim when travelling in London on Thursday. They accommodated us really well, even letting us use the disabled changing room so that my son didn't need to change by himself in the unfamiliar facilities. It was easy for us to pay for a one-time swim and hire towels (as we were passing through London). It is nice to swim in an outdoor pool and such a contrast from the busy streets outside it - an oasis, even! I can, however, see what another reviewer said about there not being anywhere good for non-swimmers to play in the pool. The life guard checks that a child can swim OK, when you get in. No problem for us, but could be for some people, obviously. We enjoyed the little café there also, where you can sit out by the pool. We felt very welcome here :-)…

Always opens, friendly staff, good for children, Gym facilities for teens, outside swimming pool is clean and sauna there.

Of course in the town center wouldnt expect not to be crowded but still. Try to avoid the weekends, excellent outdoor facilities.

It was a pleasant surprise to find that a sauna has been added to the swimming pool facilities. This is quite a significant addition and now means that finally Oasis is genuinely an Oasis. The compactness of the sauna means that people are likely to converse with each other. Private conversations become eavesdropped and a nice sense of community begins to ensue. Alone, among London Swimming pools the lockers retain the 20p coin and I can only assume that the revenue generated from this has subsided the sauna.…
