I visited this bar on Valentine's Day. It was small but cosy. The live bands are very close to the audience which is great as you feel at one with them. jimmy C and the Blues Dragons were the second act on and took us through to 1:00am. A great band with a saxophonist to boot. Got me singing the... More

This little blues bar is bustling with life and energy. With live blues every night of the week (free entrance week nights and £5 at weekends) there is a great atmosphere and is so busy. We went on a Wednesday night and saw two great music acts, one of whom was a musician friend- who we happened to stumble upon.... More

Great blues bar just off bustling Kingly Street, in the heart of Carnaby. Small, intimate, with fantastic blues/jazz artists playing live. A really great place for pre or post dinner drinks, I would probably recommend pre as it gets absolutely rammed later on. It’s no Ronnie Scotts but there is a bizarrely familiar feel to it, even if you have... More

Visited yesterday for the jam, which was really nice. It was fairly crowded, and you do get thrown about a bit, but the music was very enjoyable. The lady who served me was miserable, but I guess it is stuffy in there! Also bring cash, as there is a charge for card payments. Not the best blues bar in London... More

Went here for lunch with friends. Excellent food and service, very busy but staff were pleasant and attentive. Plenty of choice for food and drink and reasonably priced.

After leaving this bar my boyfriend broke the news to me that our relationship may be over as he's now planning on spending all his time in "Ain't Nothin' But..". He was joking (I hope) but I wouldn't blame him if he was serious - if you're a blues lover the place really is that good! We arrived at 4pm... More

My friends and I arrived shortly after opening and settled into a corner away from the stage. We four stools in a tight circle and spent most of five hours like this with trips to the bar, people joining and leaving our group as the night went on. Then, once the pay to get in door policy kicked in, we... More

I am sorry your evening finished like this. We try to allow people to sit comfortable, but, as the Bar gets very busy our door staff are asked to keep the passages clear to enable easier movement of customers through the Bar. I am sorry if this was not explained more clearly. More

Found this nice little bar in Soho with live blues band. Very small and crowded but added to the experience. Go before 8PM and no admission and no line up. Go even earlier to get a table by the band.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
