We are in London for remembrance weekend staying at Days Hotel, Waterloo. This wee pub is just around the corner. Served excellent beer by knowledgeable bar staff, allowed me to sample before I decided. Our food was excellent and plentiful. The service was fast and friendly. Well priced and great VFM. Highly recommend.

Popped in for a drink to find one staff member on who said he couldn’t serve me until until a group of about twenty people had finished ordering food. Ten minutes later members of this group were still consulting menus and I asked the barman if there was any possibility of ordering two tins of Neck Oil to be greeted with a sarcastic ‘just be patient mate’. After another five minutes we gave up and left. We are locals and we won’t be back.

I would not recommend. The room is literally the smallest hostel room I have ever stayed in. There is absolutely no where to put your bags, and the bunk beds are three beds high. The lockers are 30cm by 30cm, and you need their special locks to lock them. There is no kitchen, and you only receive a 10% discount off of the pub downstairs, which is not very cheap to begin with. The only perk to this hostel is it's location since it is located a 5 min walk from the London Eye. I would not make the mistake of staying here again.

Obviously not the Ritz but after finding myself missing the last train logged on to booking.com yo find this place. A decent pub still serving with helpful staff. Clean dorm, no issues and basic breakfast included for 16.99. Can't knock it and would recommend and use again.
