There is lots to see and do, rides, games and food stalls. The food we had was really nice and I was impressed. The Bavarian village was busy, lots of people drinking and having fun. We had a good eveningVisited December 2022Travelled as a coupleWritten 19 March 2023
- EdwardSanta Rosa, California1,970 contributionsFun Winter FairWe discovered Winter Wonderland after meeting our daughter for her winter break in London and she told us about it. It is a large Christmas/winter fair which lasts for several weeks. There are vendors selling Christmas ornaments and other things, lots of places selling a huge range of food, snacks, and drinks, both hot and cold, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. There is also a large carnival area with many rides. The Bavarian Village was fun, too. We spent an evening here shortly before Christmas and had a great time. It is in the southeast corner of Hyde Park, with the entrance near Hyde Park Corner.Visited December 2022Written 3 April 2023
- JuneSingapore, Singapore42 contributionsPretty Christmas Vibes but overly commercialisedWe enjoyed exploring Winter Wonderland in Dec 2022, albeit being a tad bit commercialised and many stores were selling repeated items. We still enjoyed taking pictures and came earlier in the day to avoid the crowds. It started getting crowded in the afternoon so we left, might want to factor in that if you wish to avoid overly crowded places. We would recommend this place just to enjoy the christmas vibes and take some nice pictures, would probably spend about 2 hours or so here.Visited December 2022Written 5 June 2023
- ChrissieWilliams81Wyong Creek, Australia524 contributionsSparkling Winter WonderlandThis was my third time visiting Winter Wonderland and my first since covid. You had to purchase timed entry tickets, and had the option to purchase other tickets as well. We went to the ice kingdom, ice bar, Christmas tree ride and the big wheel. We also bought a food and drink ticket. The ice kingdom was amazing, stunning clear and white sculptures of a huge size. The ice bar was also very cool. You get glasses made of ice to drink out of. You also borrow a warm jacket for the sun zero temperatures. It was busy and we couldn’t get a seat though. The Christmas tree ride was fun, so was the big wheel. But the line for the big wheel was really long (even with pre-booked timed tickets) and I wouldn’t do it again for that reason. For the meal desk I got bratwurst and mulled wine. Winter Wonderland is a must see!Visited December 2022Travelled as a coupleWritten 9 July 2023
- reviews4u39 contributionsWinter Wonderland ReviewIts a good fun experiance, with lots to get up to such as: ice skating, going on all the rides, having some food from many food stalls, going through the ice sculpture trail, visiting all the shops there and more! It does get busy, so get there as early as you can to experiance everything on offer. Overall, would reccomend to come and enjoy!Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 25 August 2023
- Pagie08Manchester, United Kingdom128 contributionsAmazing placeWe only went for a few hours but an amazing place. We booked in advance. First Saturday of opening 10am slot. It actually seemed really quiet inside I’m guessing as it gets closer to Xmas will be a lot busier. We did the magical ice kingdom. Big wheel. And ice bar. Again all booked in advance. There are plenty of food stalls. Games. And little Xmas market stalls. We enjoyed it and would definitely go again.Visited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 18 November 2023
- DadwhoeatsKing's Lynn, United Kingdom37 contributions2023 Winter wonderlandUnderwhelming visit this year. Maybe it was the early visit but it certainly did not feel magical maybe towards Christmas it will. Overpriced drinks and food as normal. Magical kingdom ice sculptures were phenomenal. Security guards all very friendly. Probably the last year we will go better value for money at chessington / Alton towers. £6-9 a ride £40 for a family attraction. £7.50 a pint Hotdogs stupid money Churros £6Visited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten 19 November 2023
- TomGloucester, United Kingdom433 contributionsFirst time visitingThis is the first time we have visited winter wonderland and was taken back by the scale of it. Its huge!! So much to see here, loads of food and drink to try too. Whilst most things you have to pay to see/do it’s just nice to walk around and look at everything. Really enjoyed it.Visited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 19 November 2023
- Greenwich SocialLondon, United Kingdom560 contributionsFun Christmas experience for all agesWent a couple of times - obviously it's better if you can go on a weekday because it's much more manageable and easier to walk around. The slotted timings work well but at the weekend it can still take 30 mins+ to enter, even when the queue doesn't look big. Lots of options but probably unsurprisingly there are a lot of added costs. Definitely a good Christmas attraction for all ages.Visited December 2022Travelled with friendsWritten 21 November 2023
- Gfree5 contributionsPositives outweigh the negativesin the cold light of day disappointing as poorly maintained displays clearly visible eg by circus bar large animals had not been repainted and feet were missing and arm hanging off gorilla, pre purchased bavarian meal package was not good value and there were nicer/ more interesting places to eat although difficult everywhere to find staff that understood allergen needs. Having said that both circus shows the ice kingdom and ice sculpting were excellent and good value and superbly inclusive. At night the lights improved the Christmas feel and all staff around the site were helpful. Accessible toilet facilties easy to find and well equippedVisited November 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 24 November 2023

Was convinced by my wife to go as she had been a couple of times. Great experience all round. Lots to see and do coupled with great food and drink. The large places with food galore with music in a great atmosphere are worth it alone. Yes everything is more expensive but not a rip off

It is on the exp side but well organised and some fun experiences. I think once is enough tho unless you live in, or have cheap and easy access to the city.

1. I got hideous good poisoning after eating sausages at the Bavarian village.
2. The staff - especially Bavarian Village - were unhelpful, unenthusiastic. Zero customer service.
3. In fairness the rides looked like fun, but I didn’t go for the rides.

It was a decent outing with some lit up stuff, some rollercoasters, etc. but it certainly seems to be quite overrated since it is certainly not some one-off experience which one has never had before, as it is made out to be. Maybe nice for people with children, for all others the kind of prices being charged PER ride / activity, etc. is quite high. Several of the Christmas markets like those in Leicester Square give you a good feel anyway, without the gimmicks.

We had a great time! It’s definitely over priced, the rides are expensive . Drinks were over priced but not as bad as I previously assumed. I would go back but please be careful!! People keep getting their phones stolen. The lack of security is actually shocking and they aren’t particularly helpful! Go with caution

We spent just under £150 as we were attracted by the so called "free entry" if spent more than certain amount. Our slot was for only 2.5 hours.
We couldn't play all that we paid for. It was so crowded. We had to leave without completing 4 wanted rides and skating for 2, as the lines were too long.
We obviously had to stick to the allocated time slot, as we probably wouldn't have been allowed to enter any earlier/our rides ticket wouldn't have worked anyway.
We and many others believe the park was too busy/over subscribed and some control should have been put in place on the ticket sale.
We would've been disappointed but not unhappy to have not been sold any tickets or even not be allowed into the park, rather than the experience we had!
We kept writing to Customer Services explaining the situation and asking for perhaps vouchers that we can use next time we decide to go. We had almost the same response every time. Something that looked like copied from a script stating below;
"We do understand that this can be difficult with queues, however it is the customers responsibility to ensure they have sufficient time to complete all the activities they have pre-booked. We do apologize that in your case you were unable to do this.
Unfortunately, all tickets are strictly non-refundable after the point of purchase and therefore we will be unable to assist you any further in this matter."

Over 6 hours and we did not play everything. It was so crowded.
I am used to the one back home that 2-3 hours are enough o ride what we want twice.
We had to leave without at least 2 wanted to ride but the line was long,
Food was great
All rides we did were fun. We wanted 2 more but we got tired and it had a long line.
Food was good. Some staff were friendly and great
But i think going once or twice was enough

Queues of over 2 hours for a single attraction (We spent 6 hours to be able to ride 3 single attractions), expensive and tasteless food, and every place you try to walk in is overcrowded.
Not worthy at all.

Mind you my review is because I was only with adults. But with that said if you don’t want to ride carnival rides or spend coin on games this really isn’t worth going to. If I had little ones they would be in heaven. The food was good primarily fried, the mulled wine was ok..a bit watered down. Went to the ice bar which was super crowded and freezing …but it was an ice bar. So happy we went but unless with the grands I wouldn’t do it again.

I am reading reviews saying long queues to get in. If my entry time is 2pm can I join the queue earlier than that to be let inside at 2pm as we have an ice kingdom booking to get to or will they only let us join the queue at 2pm and then not get inside until later?

Hi. Were going to winter wonderland today and my daughter is celiac. I wondered if other people with celiac kids have found stalls which sell things like gluten free chocolate?

Is it possible to get a pod for just 2 people on the giant wheel in winter wonderland? Or will other people always fill it up?

You can get a private pod, booked in advance on the website. Good news is you'll get free entry to winter wonderland that way, bad news is that's because the private pod price is 48-78 quid depending on time and if you want fast track entry.

I think this would be allowed but you probably won’t be allowed if they are wrapped and it can’t be verified what the item is. Every bag is subject to search. It’s evident they are looking for alcohol, drugs and weapons.
