Part of my Hop On Hop Off Golden Tours package was a Royalty Tour, which I wanted to take part in. We had a great guide Bruce who explained us much more that I personally knew about the Royal family. The main focus was to get to see the change of guards. The day before I tried the same, but... More

So far I have taken 3 day trips from London with Golden Tours (Stonehenge/Bath/Windsor Castle, Leeds Castle/Canterbury/Dover/Greenwich, and Warwick Castle/Stratford/Cotswolds/Oxford). I think they are worth it, even though they are kind of pricey, because they include admission, lunch + transportation. All the guides were very personable and pretty knowledgeable.

Splendid experience, covering four major attractions in one single day. Although slightly rushed due to the large distances between destinations, the tour was able to provide a satisfying experience of each place. Maybe the Bath city tour should be extended slightly, as half-an hour is too small to explore such a beautiful city on your own. Our tour-guide Tony (Antonio)... More

I'm not ever a guided tour person but this was the least expensive way to see all three of these locations in one day. I was one of the first to arrive at the bus and got a great spot on it. Our bus ended up leaving a bit late due to late arrivals and then we stopped again due... More

Was really enjoyable ...and we booked for 1plus 1 offer ... have us 2 days to experience London on those buses. Only thing we suffered was when we wanted to go to buckingam palace from trafalgar square. We didn't know it takes only 1 ten minutes walk. On those hop on bus it took more than a hour as it... Thank you for your kind comments. We appreciate you taking the time to leave your views. It is approximately 15 minutes to walk from Trafalgar Square to Buckingham Palace, but hopping on the bus saves the feet, and you get enjoy the sights whilst learning some historical facts along the way! Thank you for the recommendations and we hope to... More

I booked the direct bus from Baker Street to the Warner Brothers studio and was so glad that I did. It was extremely convenient and from what I gathered, is the only direct mode of public transport from Central London to the tour. Tv screens on the bus showed the Philospher's Stone there and back, which was a wonderful touch.... More

We preferred the live commentary so tried to always get on a blue line bus with live commentary but apart from the brief time we spent with the first one in the morning all the others were terrible, the worst being a man who hardly told us anything and kept using silly voices to say hello or goodbye to folks... The Golden Harry Potter world tour was simply fantastic. a must for true HP fans. Very different than Orlando, and a better if you love the movies. Just enough time allotted and the bus from London is perfect, make reservations in advance always booked and hard to get a ticket near holidays or school breaks.

We loved our tour and especially enjoyed Graeme our tour guide. He was very informative and had a wonderful sense of humor! Our driver Antonio got us where we needed to go safely and efficiently. Would use Golden Tours again in a heartbeat. Thanks Graeme and Antonio

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
