This is by the best place in the area. As coffee lovers, my girlfriend and I are fans of this place. We always walk in for just a coffee and end up buying a little home made cake or muffin each, some nice bread, jam and other organic products. We love this place! I do not live here but my mum does, so every time we visit we are sure to pop in for a treat. There's always something new. My mum used to shop in the stores opposite and once she tried the bread from Paula's Deli she is now a fan also!

Paula runs a lovely delicatessen full of Eastern and Central European goodies. Her home made cakes are a delight, especially the cheesecake. She makes a great coffee too. Artisan breads, sandwiches, jams, olives and other treats surround you in her welcoming, local, independent shop. Well worth a visit. It's only 5 mins walk from Wood Green tube, and two mins from the Crown Court.

I've been working in Wood Green for 4 months and much as I love Turkish and Greek food I've have the occasional need to have a decent coffee and sandwich. I'd given up on this dream until I spotted Paula's on TripAdvisor. The coffee is not quite up to a specialist coffee shop but is as good as you're going to get without paying huge amounts for the privilege of being surrounded by exposed brickwork. The sandwiches weren't your usual deli fare ... I had salami and halumi which was delicious ... my only down point was that that the previous customer took 5+ mins to serve which delayed my order ... not obvious why as seemed straight forward but its a nice place to wait and I unusually had a full lunch hour so no problem

If you want a little piece of sophistication to accompany your jury service then Paula's is the place. The coffee is good, the setting is stylish and the food is yummy. Thank you for making two weeks in Wood Green a little more bearable Paula!

If you are attending the Crown Court Paula's is brilliant for coffee and a quick lunch. There are no facilities worth the name in the Court itself so an independent pleasant handy deli is an oasis
