The cellar can be used for private functions, in this case a wedding party. It's very dark and atmospheric. Stairs could be tricky for some. Craft beer, helpful staff, toilets needed some attention.

Through what I had read of this place I was really looking forward to going to it and finding it as I live just 10/15 minutes walk away. I booked a table for 2 but actually 4 of us ended up going on the night, the staff were very helpful with this as all tables were full but one; which they managed to fit all four of us on with plenty of space...this was much appreciated. The only cool thing about this place is walking in and down the stairs, once inside it is very open which I didnt think it would be. The two seperate North and South caves looked very cool for a private area though! Also we ordered some snacks which were the hot wings, calamari, sweet potato fries and battered pickle. Everything, which was meant to be hot, was very cold which made it all horrible to eat :( this was a shame. We didnt complain though as we had to leave soon after so didnt want to waste anyones time including our own. Wouldnt recommend

Quirky basement bar/meeting room with a couple of caves (north and south). Good for about 40-50 people, excellent food and plentiful diverse drinks with working stil for homemade alcohol! Very close to Tower Bridge, easy to find and worth seeking out.

I found a good deal on drink vouchers for this bar never having been here before. We came with friends from out of town and were excited by the description and the rave reviews we read. We showed up around 10:30pm on Saturday night and there were about 8 other people in the bar. We thought maybe it would get busier later on, but only about 10 other people came in. The drinks were very different which was cool to try, but most ended up being disliked. It is a cool concept in theory, just doesn't quite pan out in execution.

An unassuming basement bar under a pub with distinctive differences. It features a working chemistry lab where alcohol is made. Their recipes are unique and fit their cocktails. There are 2 cellars that give some privacy but one can eat comfortably at the North one, as the tables in the other are a bit small. Having drinks would be perfect. Try some cocktails. The Poke burger was probably one of the best burgers I have ever had. I have had a few burgers in my life. Juicy, tasty and not too greasy. The meat was fresh and the spice was just right. Instead of fries, they serve a little cocktail shot. The staff is knowledgeable and professional at what they do and serve. Definitely head back when I'm back in that area!!!
