Closest thing to heaven for fans of Herge’s iconic cartoon character. Only a small shop, but it’s full of books and giftware connected to the Belgian boy reporter. It’s the perfect place to get a gift for someone hooked on these great stories and characters.

The Tintin shop is a must for fans of the comic book. If you can't get to the Tintin stores in Belgium, then this is possibly the next best thing. Everything related to Tintin, books, models, postcard, t-shirts are all available here. Having been to the Tintin stores in Belgium and Singapore, this particular store is very small in comparison. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of Tintin memorabilia here, but I've been to comic stores in Belgium with bigger Tintin collections. Rang the shop yesterday to order a book."You'll have to order online"snapped a woman's voice, why I answered, we don't do orders over the phone she replied. Wrong answer!I put the phone down rang a small family bookshop in Berwick upon Tweed,no problem here book ordered and awaiting delivery this afternoon and three quid cheaper into the bargain.…

I went out of my way to find this little shop as I really wanted something to take home for my Tintin loving daughter. As I walked in I grabbed a life-sized Snowy and then started looking for some other items. The lady in the shop was really friendly and excellent with making suggestions too. I was keen on a rocket, but was not sure which so she went and got the ideal one to go with the figures my daughter already has. Likewise when looking at t-shirts and not sure on size, our fantastic host was happy for us to take the different sizes down and gave us a ruler so we could measure them while our daughter was on the phone measuring a shirt she wears. I totally recommend a visit for any Tintin fan. PS Actually our experience here began before we arrived. Around 6 weeks before we visited I emailed to ask about opening hours and got a prompt and friendly reply listing hours and giving a friendly invite. So online service, just as good as in person.…
