We visited this place to try duck and waffle, and sushismaba. But to be honest it's not even worth that. I think all the hype of this place is that it's high up and you get some good views of the city, because the restaurants really aren't all that. You'd definitely get better food and service from restaurants at street level. The upside it's free to get up, so at least you can have a look around without wasting your money.

We enjoyed a very nice late lunch and stayed long enough for the view to change from sunshine to darkness. The Lamb was the best!

Heron Tower (officially 110 Bishopsgate) is a commercial skyscraper in the finaiancial district of London. At 230 metres the third tallest building in London. Shorter than only The Shard and One Canada Square. As skyscrapers go, this is pretty unimaginative, looking like one long square tube. About as creative as a child stacking Lego bricks one on top of another to form a long tower. The main attraction in my humble opinion is reception area, which has an aquarium containing over 1000 fishes. If you're a software engineer, then is building is the London HQ of Salesforce.com

In my quest to walk more around London I’m seeing more and more places that I’ve missed by taking the tube. For a very short time this was the tallest building in London but was quickly overtaken. Houses offices, restaurants and I believe a very large aquarium that I didn’t get the chance to see - maybe next time
