I went to magic roundabout, it’s alright for something that is above an underground station. Drinks were ok, food was rubbish and overpriced. Would not recommend

I have been here a few times, and I absolutely love the quirkiness of this place. It is like no other place I have been The entrance to the venue is actually WITHIN Old Street Station and is hidden away but if you find it, you are in for a treat It is a great open air space on top of Old Street roundabout with good food stalls. The only issue is the toilets which look rather makeshift

Absolute horrible bouncer. So mean and so rude. Saw two boys with a large group of girls and decided that they wouldn't deserve entry. When one of our group asked why he imminently kicked her out, a girl less than half a size who had booked this special day for a group reunion, however his awful treatment brought her to tears. The manger at the time did seem to be on our side, giving us a complete refund for all purchases and the table we booked. Then our 15+ group decided to take our business else-wear.

I went on a Saturday night for my birthday with no expectations, but when we got there we fell in love with the place. As it’s an open space you can smoke pretty much anywhere, the drinks are good and the staff are super friendly. Music was decent some current stuff, some cheese but overall a good mix. Would definitely recommend as I’ll be returning soon myself :)

Came here last week for a company away day, where some guys came to give us a graffiti workshop (Magic Roundabout being one of the venues you can use). Unfortunately it was raining that day, which can't be helped, but there was absolutely no one to welcome us on arrival and the one obvious covered spot had leaky plastic roofing and wet cushions. We asked if we could have access to another covered area but were told that was being used for staff working and a private event at 5pm. This was at only 1pm (and our booking was until 3.30) so I would have thought paying and present customers would take priority over staff having a meeting. We bought tokens for the bar and food van but it was not clear what food the token included, burgers were slow to come and the fryer went bust so the chips took even longer. Although we were mainly being looked after by the graffiti team, I felt we were a bit abandoned by the venue staff. Wouldn't go there on a night out, especially in the rain.
