This is a great place for a walk but you need several hours to do it justice. It is the oldest of the Magnificent Seven Victorian cemeteries surrounding London. It's also been a conservation area since 1984. There is an interesting mix of graves for...More

Spent a good hour walking around here with my partner as I'm into the more macabre of activities. Found it highly interesting if you like that sort of stuff. Super fascinating and weirdly relaxing as we wandered around the memorials and gravestones. I recommend this...More

We regularly come here with our family for a stroll. It is absolutely huge, somewhat run down in parts, but absolutely fascinating. The graves vary from the very simple to huge, house-sized constructions. Looking at the names, you regularly stumble (sometimes quite literally) on someone...More

I knew the cemetery slightly before I took the tour, but the tour guides brought (pardon the pun) the whole place to life. Well worth a visit. More than good value for money - but it was nice that the low price attracted a good...More

We visited here to find an old family grave. You can go into the office and they will help you find graves on their maps. The staff members were most helpful. The graveyard is quite higgledy-piggledy and we had quite a time finding our grave...More

We went to Kensal Green via the tube and found the cemetery to be well signposted from the station, initially the missing walls and supporting structures don't encourage much optimism, and the nearest entrance on our visit was locked so ended up at the main...More

I knew in advance that there would be a lot of famous people to find, as well as some of my own ancestors. With hindsight I should have done a tour as the place is very big and pretty complicated. Well worth the visit though.
