Day out

Decided to book last minute so glad I did. Staff really welcoming from queuing up outside to getting a drink at the bar! The play is funny and the actors timing just great. The audience was of mixed ages and to hear young ones laugh heartily made me laugh more. Good start in getting back to some normality. Would come again!

We came to the play as we loved the TV show and wasnt disappointed. We laughed before the show had even started, but won't say anymore about that !.It's a lovely little theatre and you will be happy where ever you sit. Please don't think twice about this super funny play , if you love it on TV , your love this !!!!.

Laughs non-stop
Mar 2020 • Family
Wonderful slapstick comedy - great play with a nonstop series of laughs. The theatre is also nice and (as most in London) perfectly located to have a great night out.

Great show
Mar 2020 • Family
Very funny show. Loved the fact even before show officially started actors were in audience. Was lucky the night we went to get moved from upstairs to sit in stalls. Very well produced show and very funny.

What am I missing?...
Feb 2020
Not sure which is worse; the awful, indulgent, ham acting or the direction which labours every single tiny moment. I get the premise, the script is actually pretty funny as are some of the parts, but the acting is awful - if the poly itself put this on it would have been better. Surely this kind of stuff only works if they play it straight? There was a six year old behind me doubled up laughing though so maybe I’m not the right audience. Left at the interval. Give it a miss.

Awful
Feb 2020 • Family
This play was awful, nothing funny at all & the end couldn't come quick enough. I would have been very grateful to escape at the interval but my son was enjoying it. I was hoping for good comic timing, but everything about it was dull, lame & cringeworthy.

The play that went wrong from start to finish
Feb 2020 • Friends
Aptly named play as this play that goes wrong actually went wrong.. the whole theatre was double booked.. how do the people that run this theatre manage to do that for gods sake.. surely the odd over sake.. but the WHOLE THEATRE??!! No refund direct just to the agency so imagine that’s going to be a load of aggro to get a refund so let’s see.. what about hotel costs etc etc and it was for someone’s birthday which was ruined.. Shocking experience provided by obviously a Mickey Mouse operator..
Took an hour to queue an hour to find out how we may get money back. Painful and very poor service

Brilliant show- hysterical
Feb 2020 • Family
A brilliantly funny show even before it started. Very clever and well done. total slapstick comedy. All the actors were very clever, seemless disaster. We laughed so hard that our stomachs are aching this morning.

A bit like a pantomime!
Feb 2020 • Family
I was really looking forward to this having seen The comedy of a Bank Robber when it was on tour. Bits of the play are very funny and definitely “laugh out loud”, slapstick moments but I felt it was not as funny and needed a very “british humour” to tolerate. The set is very cleverly constructed and the majority of actors are brilliant but the “Oh yes you did- oh no I didn't” moments were just not for me.
