Stopped here because it said gardens, and we thought that would be quite nice to walk around. And it mentioned a cafe. Even better we thought, a lunch as well. Walking into a very pleasant courtyard with tables and chairs. And decided that this would indeed be the perfect place for a Bank Holiday Monday luncheon. We ordered Beef pie,... More

Fabulous place to visit, myself and my wife Corinne come here very often during different times of the year to sample the different seasons and what it has to offer. A real treat when the Daffodils come out!

We had intended to visit a near by location but found that they were fully booked, so thought we'd pay this place a visit. What an absolutely wonderful hidden gem this is! I really can't praise it enough. The gardens are beautiful, but we did only have a quick walk around the cottage garden, as we were more interested in... More

I only went to Hoveton as had seen there was an art trail. It was pathetic. I was expecting big pieces of work but all were small and quite honestly over priced. Some of the pieces of art were not even there, the spot on the map just empty. I felt totally ripped off.

We don't live to far from here but had never visited before, as some friends had recommended it we decided to visit. Please be aware they only take cash for the entrance fee. Lots of sections to visit and the formal gardens near the little cottage were delightful, with benches should you wish to sit and enjoy. Lots of different... More

The spider garden is just beautiful, then to the magnolia garden and down to the lake where we just sat and watched a pair of swans with just one cygnet, So much colour everywhere, some lovely sculptures to look at as well, An excellent light... These gardens are only open to the public at limited times but it is well worth a visit. The rhododendrons and azaleas are stunning and the water garden is lovely. The cafe is run independently and has limited seating inside but plenty outside, so best to visit on a dry day.

Hoveton Hall gardens only open for May and June and then again in August. The rhododendrons are still out though some may just be going over however the ground are beautiful. The spider garden ( named for the quirky gate not the insect ) are just wonderful with flowers blooming and more to come. The cafe is more than that,... More

We went to Hoveton Hall because there was a country fair on, we didn't realise what a beautiful place it is. All the rhododendrons were out and they were wonderful, but the gardens are fantastic anyway. Everything is so well looked after and all the plants and trees were labelled, which was a great help. We didn't see all of... More
