Great museum, really big with lots of different types of trains. Would be good to have slightly more information about some of the trains but overall informative. Nice little children’s corner. Expensive cafe!

This is a free to enter attraction but they recommend a £5 donation. You could probably do the whole place in an hour unless you stay for lunch. You can buy food there or use the picnic area and take your own. You can board...More

Free to enter and great to look at the various trains. Remember some of them from when I was young. The coaches that the Royals used are fasinating to see how the other half travel.

So much to see here - it is a great place. I was sad The Flying Scotsman was not there but the display about its history was great. I loved seeing the Royal trains. You could spend a long time here.

Visited the museum because the weather wasn't very nice. Glad we did as my dad had a great day reminiscing about his childhood and model railway collection. The museum has something for all ages and is very interesting. Great day out.
