Whilst the location is stunning and the staff very friendly the advertisement of this museum is very weighted towards the Jurassic Park and my son who is Dinosaur mad was very excited , for £15 you will do well to spend more than 15-20 minutes...More

Off the back of visiting Dippy in Birmingham FOR FREE we bought our 3 and 5 year olds to the Yorkshire museum after hearing good things about the dinosaur exhibit. The boys were free but we paid £15 for two adults for essentially 15 minutes...More

This museum was just right for the amount of time we had and for filling in our knowledge gap of this part of the world. We happened across it to walk through the green space and visit the Abbey. Perhaps by not having any expectations...More

Visited yesterday, and we were done in about 30 minutes flat. Admittedly, museums aren't my favourite activity, but I was lured in by the dinosaur section they were advertising. However, it was so limited, and was only two rooms! Although what they had on show...More

Went here for the dinosaurs and it was disappointing. There is very little to see and the posters suggest lots of models which don't exist. The one in Trinity Leeds and those at Junction 32 are better, and free. We did manage to fill the...More

Took our dinosaur mad children to the Jurassic World museum today. It essentially 3 rooms with a few fossils and books in them. I think for the money and expectation this is very poor.

Spent a couple of hours in this excellent museum. Helpful staff and they seem to encourage interactivity (which isn't always the case). Good value for money in my opinion and very interesting exhibits. Not the biggest but well worth a visit.

I've become so accustomed to not paying for museums that I was surprised to have to pay. Children being free definitely ensured we decided to go in rather than walking away. I'm so glad we did, the Yorkshire in the Jurrasic Dinosaur exhibition was perhaps...More
