If you are in York, then get stuck in!

If you visit York, then you MUST visit the Shambles. Very interesting with all types of shops there, I ended up buying way too much fudge, and would recommend!!

Lovely little street! Totally charming street - looks just like diagonal alley! Some sweet shops and lovely food stops - and a lovely way to approach York minster!

So much history and local charm. Would recommend a local guide if you can to take you around. Lots of shops and interesting things to see.

We walked past the nook and noticed it was dog friendly, so we popped in for a warm drink. The staff was very polite and welcoming. They even provided us with dog treats and water. Thank you

Worth a visit, just to wander along and see the tiny shops and cobbled street. It's incredibly quaint
