As we live in South Bank the park is ideally placed to take my grandson to play on the swings and climbing frames etc. Also it should be a great and safe place for him to cycle, unfortunately this is spoiled by having to spend...More

A really nice park to walk around with a cafe for breakfast and snacks. It has a large pond and lots of geese around so dogs have to be kept on a lead. All my reviews are based on genuine first hand experience, if this...More

Beautiful park marred by POO. Great playground, lovely surrounding, but oh, the goose poo. It really is appalling and spoils enjoyment of this otherwise lovely park. There is a skate park, plenty of space for kids to runaround or ride bikes or scooters, and often...More

This lovely park is just a short walk away from York. We enjoy exploring the park, looking at the ducks and ducklings, the sculptures and generally wandering.

What a pleasant surprise to find this lovely park right on the edge of the hustle and bustle of York city. To find it and take a break from the mania that is York, follow the Ouse along from the Castle out of the town...More

I don't live far from the park. It's great for sunbathing, chilling and walks. Pretty clean, sometimes grass can be a bit messy from ducks, but that's understandable. I believe there is drinks and ice-cream vans for children too. Great for sports

Lots to do, tennis courts, skate park, basketball court and pingpong tables, along with lots of play areas for smaller children There's also a good coffee bar/library - just a shame most of it is spoilt by the geese.

I don't think this a question, more of a statement. And having used toilets in India, I doubt Rooftrees Park can hold a candle to those, you had to hold your breath while using them. Still it is not what I would expect to... More

If you park in Hospital Fields (on a Saturday or Sunday) you can park on the road for free and access the park near the Millennium Bridge. Hope that helps.
