If you're visiting York Minster then why not visit St. Michael since it's essentially across the street. We visited during a service and we enjoyed seeing how the locals worship.

Lovely church with a fresh modern feel. This is a great contrast from the old feeling minister over the path from St Michael.

We called in Sunday morning just as the 11am service had started. The singing was great, the band was terrific and the welcome was wonderful. So many young people. The message was from a young man who use to go here before he went as...More

For evangelical Christians this is a must. The church is generally packed on a Sunday evening. The singing is great, The sermons are edifying. The fellowship is outstanding.

This is a church that believes what it says and puts it into practice. A wonderful piece of history that is not content to remain in the past but brings a culturally relevant outward facing approach to the numerous tourists and local people who visit

Wonderful looking building ...pales in comparison to York Minster next door. Worth a look around the outside. Could not get in as it was closed

Seldom would I rate a church poor on TA but this church shows pure disrespect for the craftsmen who by their labours built it. I am not of any religious persuasion but would suggest that those who plan and build churches do so to the...More

It's old and in the center of town, open and free. But not especially grand or pretty. Take a peak, but no need to stay a long time.
