Gradually shopped and dined our way up the street. Excellent Gin arcade! Great pubs for food and drink. Superb shopping facilities. What more would you want this Christmas

Fun to walk along and window shop. Follow Stonegate one way to the Minster, or wander along and try not to spend too much! The general area is great, so be sure to try some of the side streets as well.

Being a wider street this is one place where the throng of tourists in August is not quite so bad. A good mixture of shops and eateries along there with independents rubbing shoulders with bigger chains. Good to window shop

A great shopping street full of a great mix of shops. Lots of temptation for your taste bud. If you like antique jewellery then there are many shops of this type.

Stonegate links Petergate at one end and Blake St/Deansgate the other but Petergate end is the more attractive in my opinion. The paved street is nice to wander along and check out the eclectic range of shops, bars, cafes etc and the pub near Deansgate...More
