We have been past the entrance many times before but it was never open. Made a special effort this time to be there for opening time 10:30. Glad we did as it was well worth the visit. The staff are very knowledgeable about the Terry family and we learned some interesting facts. The house itself is very well preserved. The gardens are very well maintained and worth a stroll. It's a delight to enjoy this Arts and Crafts house, just as if you're a member of the family; so sit on the furniture, play board games, take a glass of sherry !! A special thanks to all the well informed Volunteers, who brought the whole place to life. And don't miss the dining room, we had a superb lunch !!…
