Was ok not much to it. Decent enough if you're interested in that kind of thing. not enough aimed towards kids. Short tour. Pay for what you get!

Our guided tour of the City of Caves was really interesting- I learned a lot about the history of Nottingham, about leather tanning, and the use of the caves as air raid shelters during WWII. This is a good attraction for the whole family, as it will appeal to both adults and children. Children are given a sheet a paper... More

We had a tour that lasted about 40 minutes. There was also a chance to go round again by ourselves if we wanted. Our tour guide and the staff on reception were friendly. The tour itself was interesting. The place is easy to find, I can't quite understand why some reviews say it isn't?

The City of Caves is surely one of the must-visit attractions in Nottingham, UK. The tour takes you to corridors beneath the Broadmarsh Market (a shopping centre) in downtown Nottingham, it lasts about 45 minutes but you can hang around in the caves for as long as you wish after the guided tour is ended. You can see caves where... More

Nice little thing to do if you're visiting and the price is good. You're given handsets that describe the exhibits and features of the caves and tunnels, and there are decent reproductions of historical scenes and whatnot. Takes about 45 minutes to an hour if you listen to all the handset recordings in full. Not wheelchair accessible, unfortunately. It'd be... More

We came to Nottingham and our friend suggested we go to the caves under Nottingham and we and our 2 young kids (8&9) loved it. The guide on the tour was fantastic and the caves are really interesting. This attraction is funded by donations and they plan to extend the caves that can be extended. overall very good.

The last thing you'd expect to find in a shopping centre! The guide, Daniel, was absolutely fantastic and very engaging. Learnt a lot of interesting facts and was impressed by how well it flowed from one cave to the next. Unfortunately the only bad thing I would say is that I was expecting to see more but overall not bad... More
