Once you get over the strange experience of going into a cave from a shopping centre, this is a great experience. Caves carved out of the soft sandstone, used for 800 years up to the 2nd World War. The guided tour was very interesting and...More

I am amazed to discover that the city of Nottingham is built on sandstone rock which is riddled with hundreds of caves. This display in the Intu Broadmarsh Shopping Centre gives an audio guide through one of these networks below the Centre, which reveals some...More

We had a guided tour of the caves which we thoroughly enjoyed. The tour was about 45 minutes which was just about right, you're given time to have a look around each part after a short talk. What made this tour was the guide who...More

We didn’t use the tour guide so I’m not sure. We walked around at our leisure and spent over an hour there. Hope you enjoy it :-)

We did an audio tour which lasted just under an hour. I think it would have been longer with a tour guide.
