Wollaton Hall in Nottingham is where key scenes from The Dark Knight Rises were filmed, the hall being just 5 miles North of Gotham where Gotham City got it's name. I'd say it's must visit for any Batman fans!

The surrounding park is free to enter and parking is currently £3 for 2 hours or £5 for all day. We've also visited Camellia's house and The Wollaton Park Lake where we've seen the swans. #roadforksoffbeat

First time we visited this lovely place. It’s a huge area with a lake, great for walking around and exploring. We loved the deers and other animals we encountered during our walk. The museum is free, there is a gift shop for souvenirs and plenty to do for children too. The garden was beautiful with the blooming flowers and there is a private golf course to enjoy.

We had a lovely visit here! Door was open for the museum and we walked right in. Loved seeing the deer wandering around. The building is astonishing!

£100 just to have pictures!! On a council owned park??? Part of a wedding party who stopped for pictures within seconds of us arriving a man came marching down to say we needed to pay? Thought we were being pranked until he threatened police. Luckily we were able to get pictures on Arnold Park another council owned park who didn't charge!!

Very disappointed. We stopped here on Thursday on our way to a wedding meal to take a couple of photos with a nice grass background. Within minutes of arrival we were swooped upon by a man with a radio. He wanted to charge us £100 to take photos. Was VERY rude to the bride and groom and upset the bride.
Annoying when if we had arrived without a wedding dress we could have taken as many photos as we wanted.

This was my second visit and again really enjoyed the exhibits, by Granddaughter was most impressed with Titus and the explanation of its findings.
The staff were very helpful, great communication, professional and customer focused
We are very lucky in these difficult times with price rises to have a fantastic, safe and interesting place to visit which is such good value with lots to see and do.
Great to see the Deer roaming the grounds and wonderful to walk such a beautiful and historic location.
The staff work hard to ensure customer satisfaction and that is very much appreciated.
Thank You

We have just come back from a wonderful tour with Gwyn, she showed us round amazing sections of the house, with a wealth of insider knowledge.

Underwhelming and overpriced. More for kids, definitely needs some updating. Not much history on the building, doesn’t compare to national trusts

Loved the grounds and all the wildlife with two types of deer to see as well as water birds on the lake.
The bacon butty went down a treat.
