Beautiful animals at the Cotswolds wildlife park.
Oct 2021 • Couples
My wife and I have visited the park many times and we never fail to be impressed with everything.
The animals are kept in beautiful areas, and every where is kept extremely clean.
The gardens are equally beautiful and tidy.
Restaurant facilities are very good with a nice selection of hot and cold food and drink.
Staff throughout the park are super friendly and obviously have a passion for what they do.
I treated my wife to a keeper for the day experience for her birthday previously.
An experience both she and I will treasure for always.
Thankyou to everyone at the Cotswolds wildlife park for everything you do.

Lovely day out with grandchildren
Oct 2021
My first trip to this animal park for several years, and resulted in an enjoyable day out with my son and grandchildren.
I had to leave early so couldn't see all the park had to offer.
I enjoyed all the favourites in the small area by the entrance such as the meerkats and penguins.
We then went on the train, great value at £2 for adults, it gives you a good overview of the park so you can plan your day.
The children's zoo followed, their favourite was probably the goats which the grandchildren enjoyed stroking.
I left the grandchildren at the fantastic large play area, where they were having a great time on the slides and other items of play equipment.

Zoo Keeper for a day experience of a lifetime
Oct 2021
I love animals and had always wanted to be a zoo keeper for a day. This experience was outstanding with so much more direct interation than I had expected. The day started at 9 am and lasted until 4.30. Apart from a one hour lunch break (when I received personl service in the restaurant) I was one on one with a range of different keepers who were each specialists in the animals of reptiles I was with. I was able to stroke rhinos, capbaras, armadillos, tapirs, Giant tortoises and hand feed penguins, Capybaras, tapirs, giraffes, large gibbons, giant tortoises, and small ant eaters. The staff were unfailingly interesting, polite and good company. I would recomment it to anyone who loves animals. It is tiring for the over 60s which I am when you are trying to keep up with a young keeper striding across the park but I was determined not to ask them to slow down! I would love to go again. Excellent value for a great day out.

Fab day out
Oct 2021 • Family
We visited today thinking we would only spend half a day at the park, but we're very impressed by the amount of animals they had here. I saw creatures I have not seen before. My daughter had lots of fun at the adventure playground. The onsite restaurant was clean with a good range of hot and cold food. This wildlife park is one of the best I have been to and was certainly worth the money which to be honest was very reasonable. There were lots of picnic benches and lots of toilet facilities located round the park. The ground a well kept and some lovely paths. I would definitely recommend a visit and make sure you set a full day aside for your visit.

Birthday treat

What an absolutely fantastic place! Amazing walks around beautiful gardens, I was constantly taking pictures of trees and flowers, hats off to their gardening team. The animals and birds I don’t know where to begin… You are almost in touching distance of so many beautiful animals who seem to be so well looked after. As you walk around the park it’s full of little surprises, monkeys here, rhinos there my camera was constantly taking pictures. Highlight was feeding of the giraffe’s, stood on a high platform just feet away from a giraffe’s head as they ate their tea was an incredible experience. I cannot fault Cotswold wildlife park i had the most incredible day.
Massive shout out to your friendly staff and residents. Will be back very soon.

Fabulous park and gardens
Oct 2021
A wonderful day out! We have been before and well it is a spectacular place to spend a day. The gardens are amazing, even at this time of year, s much trouble has been taken to make them look interesting. The staff are very friendly and will tell you about the animals. The big glass house was my favourite where there are birds flying and walking around you, fruit bats hanging for the ceiling and the sloth, if you can find him, which we did, we spent ages in here. There is a train that you go travel around the park, to see some of the further parks of the park, if you are unable to walk that far, which was £2.00 each person. the animals look well cared for and some are free to walk about, like in the Madagascar section, where Lemurs apparently can undo your shoelaces .Was a joy to watch them sun bathing .We were at this park for about 6hours, but we did spend quite a while in some places just watching the animals. There are mobility scooters and wheelchairs that we can hire if you phone ahead.

Expensive for disabled visitors who require a carer
Sep 2021 • Family
Beware if you are disabled as you will have to pay full price for your carer as well as for yourself (unless your disability happens to be that you’re blind in which case you’re inexplicably given completely free entry?!) This is unlike most other attractions in the area which offer FOC carer tickets, thus making your day out here twice as expensive as the alternatives (BirdLand, Cotswold Farm Park etc etc). There are Changing Places facilities and plenty of disabled parking though.

Fantastic Animal Welfare
Oct 2021
This is by and far the best 'Zoo' I have been to in England. The animals have so much space and everything is clean and tidy.
Great experiences in the walled garden area with the Lemur walks and the Birds flying around freely in the tropical house.
The grounds and especially the walled garden lawns and planted area are also a delight.
I wished we lived closer !!
