Very cosy cute place to go for coffee and a good book, staff were friendly and helped recommend a good book for a children's birthday I was thoroughly unprepared for!

First called in here during the excellent Chipping Norton Literary Festival, and now make a point of heading over to Chippy about once a month, usually ending up with a cuppa here before heading home. The tea and coffee are good, and there are tempting cakes (and sometimes frittata), to enjoy. Pick the right table and you can do this... More

This was one of the few places I entered on an exploratory visit to Chipping Norton. It looked like a sort of cross between a second hand bookshop & a Waterstones but with a cafe . There were a load of new books, for sale a couple of settees & a cafe counter. The first thing I noticed was the pungent... More

A lovely book shop serving coffee and cakes. A great place to come into and enjoy books and a coffee. Service a little slow but a good coffee. Limited seating area .

For a small book shop they have a very well thought through selection of books. Its in a great location and its really worth supporting an independent retailer in my opinion. It is idea to have a browse then a cup of coffee. It is hard however to ignore some miserable staff. No all just some. I would have thought... More

I stopped in and browsed through the books before sitting down for a good cup of coffee. A most enjoyable hour!
