We were excited to see the tree used in the Harry Potter movie and walk where C.S. Lewis walked. The medieval city walls were beautiful...don't miss walking the gardens.

Visiting during a guided Oxford Walking Tour. Unfortunately most of the things to see here were closed during lunch hours...

If you get the chance to attend a Sunday night Evensong, please do so! What a lovely experience! The service lasts exactly an hour, and on Sunday nights, the choir sings most of the service. Truly lovely!

While visiting our niece who is attending New College, she lead us on a tour of the campus. She showed us where some of the scenes of the Harry Potter movies were filmed. I loved the architecture of many of the old buildings.

It was lovely how quiet it was in the cloisters. Beautiful architecture. Harry Potter fans will recognized it as Hogwart's courtyard. The New College also had a small but lovely garden at the back.

There is now a charge to visit this college but I think it is worth it as we found it to be far more peaceful and therefore enjoyable to visit in comparison with Christ College (which was also good but was sooooo busy). The dining...More

The most beautiful city I have seen. New college makes you feel you are in a Harry Potter movie. It is a very friendly town. With students and researchers all over. A place worth visiting!

A very grand college that was founded by William of Wykeham in 1379 to educate clergy to replace those killed in the black death in 1348. Highlights are the amazing chapel on new college Lane. The bridge of sighs from Hertford college is close by.
