Great Uncle Cyril Malweisi, first man from our village to attend this robust college. Great beauty, ideal for libraries and room where Lawrence of Araby read his books. Many good memories, plenty Congo food and students so friendly. I thank you.

Always visit this college when we are in Oxford. We were lucky enough to be in the chapel while the organist was practising. The dining hall is particularly interesting with paintings of former students including Harold Wilson and Laurence of Arabia.

Just a truly beautiful place to visit. The Oxford colleges can be a bit hit and miss but nearly everyone agrees that Jesus is one of the best. Absolutely lovely.

This was one of several colleges that we visited. Whilst some are larger and some more gloomy, this one was a little gem. It is opposite Exeter College and further down Lincoln College all in Turl Street with The High St. at one end and Broad at the other so it is very central! You enter via the Porter's Lodge... More

First off it will cost you £2 to access the grounds. It's well worth it to see the chapel and the dining hall and both quadrangles. Lots of photo opportunities, very peaceful and quite away from the city noise. It's right opposite Exeter College (see separate review) on Turl Street.

We attended a wedding at Jesus. The ceremony was in the chapel, then the Breakfast in the Great Hall, and finally an evening reception in the second quad. It was absolutely gorgeous!!! ONe of the most beautiful weddings I have ever been too. The college is stunning, made almost entirely out of sand coloured brick. With lovely little real life... More

Open day in Oxford, couldn't get over the solitude found in all of the colleges visited. But Jesus with its gardens and quad seemed to have it all.

It's always been a party that's brought to Jesus College - some quite active leaders in the student societies are based here. It's nestled in amongst Oxford's oldest colleges and finest buildings.
