Love it!

We've been coming here regularly since my now-14-year-old was one. It's just brilliant - one of my favourite places!

I have been returning frequently to the Museum over the last month because their temporary exhibitions of Microsculpture, the Arctic and the wild life photography by the Oxford Photographic Society have been especially good. It is impossible to walk through to these exhibitions without being stopped by some fascinating exhibit on the way and the sense of an endless supply... More

As little Belgian tourists, we never have had the chance to see dinosaurs before... well, now it's done! The collections, as well as the building, are very impressive... we spent hours in there, our eyes wide open, astonished as children. The place is really worth a visit, but you'll need an afternoon to perfectly enjoy the variety of the collections.... More

Some interesting items for example the meteorites and Oxford Dodo sections. It's housed in an attractive building however it is a little smaller than I expected and a little low tech. Most exhibited are items in glass cases or information boards.

You will find very few Museums that will please you more than this. Although the museum is relatively small, there is more to see than a single visit can cover, so I expect having to come again. All the displays are well presented with just about the right amount of explanations. The Skeletons of known and extinct animals are the... More

This is my second visit, because this place is awesome. The exhibits are fantastic, primarily the permanent ones, though if I recall from 2015 the temporary ones are all terrific too. Good for a couple of hours, good for the family. Enjoy!

We are very lucky to have free museums in this country, and lucky to have the collections they showcase. There is so much to see and learn within the museum, it was such a pleasant and stimulating experience. I'd recommend it, not only yo families with eager kids, but also to adults who want an alternative activity from mindless shopping.... More
