We went to see Show of hands and as ever they were fantastic. We sat in the circle and still had an excellent vantage point. The acoustics were OK given the age of the building. I liked the Art Deco feel to the theatre. The staff were friendly and helpful. In all an enjoyable evening.

My wife and I enjoyed a performance of Motown here on a Friday evening. It is well located in the city centre close to many bars and restaurants. The bars inside are spacious, modern and run by efficient staff. Our only complaint were the toilet facilities, they were poor. Not enough capacity and very cramped, there were even queues for... Catherine Tate was very enjoyable and entertaining excellent show. The venue was disappointing we had balcony seats poor legroom and not good if you don't like heights! Limited toilets which didn't flush and no water to wash your hands all the ladies were complaining.

2016 Nov - 6 adults seated for stage production (Shawshank Redemption) in back of stalls (Row V 20-26) Nice theatre, quick to get in, usual somewhat pricey food & drinks, lovely friendly staff, surprisingly comfortable chairs but a bit difficult to see over the person in front (shame chairs were not staggered in layout), once or twice was a tiny... We visited the theatre on 4th Nov to see Ghost, a truly excellent performance. We visited the theatre bar at half time and could not believe the rip off prices charged for the drinks. Two regular wines and a bottle of beer 22 pound 30pence !!! Note for management - REALLY

Along with all the other great cast. I was a little sceptical going to see this show because of reading it having bad reviews but I'm so glad i... More

Went to see level 42 on Sunday evening. We sat in the circle and had a good view. The show was amazing 10 out of 10. The only negative were the support act who were awful and I actually sat with my fingers in my ears!

My friend and I went to the New Theatre today to see Sleeping Beauty. We arrived at the theatre with plenty of time to spare only to be told that the show had already started over twenty minutes before. The staff member who greeted us explained that the time of the show had been incorrect on the website. My friend... More

Went to see Cats, which was brilliant. Theatre has lovely atmosphere, staff are friendly and helpful. But needs more toilets. I know it's difficult within the constraints of an old building. but this was a matinee, with lots of children, mostly there with women, so the queues at the ladies were awful in the interval. Parking in Oxford is very... More
