Great little musuem run by an enthusiastic team of volunteers who can answer everything about the aircraft and local history of Woodley airfield. Adults and kids alike thoroughly enjoyed the hands on exhibits and going on board the BEA plane, helicopter and little trainer jet!

Spent an interesting two hours there could have been longer. The building is crammed with unusual artefacts. Not to good for young children. At £3.50 to get in with free parking also refreshment area and toilets on site. Brown signs from the A4.

Very welcoming museum with knowledgeable staff and free parking alongside, lots of technical stuff but also a few things to entertain children too. Be aware that they aren't currently able to accept card payments however..

An mpressive museum that is not too big. A really lovely and enthusistic volunteer showed us round, making the visit very, very interesting. A great way to spend an hour or 2 and learn about some local flying history. It's where Douglas Bader crashed! I...More
