Beale Park Wildlife Park & Gardens was founded in 1956 by Gilbert Beale who created the Child Beale Trust, a charitable organisation, dedicated to the care and conservation of rare and endangered animals and birds. Not only is Beale Park a charity, the Park is a great place to be with fun, adventure, gardens, amazing animals and birds and play parks - there's even a splash pool and miniature train!

I think Beale Park is a good place to take kids but it’s likely you will stay for more than a few hours. It is expensive for what it is !

We've been to Beale Park many times over the years, and it's always been a good day out. I really like the range of things to do there. It's a large space, so you can have a good walk around (and suitable paths for pushchairs)....More

Lovely grounds and the animals look happy and well looked after. The train ride and playground are fun too.

A good day out if the weather if fine. Not much shelter or things to go if the weather is cool/wet. Best suited to families with under 10s on a sunny day.

We are fairly regular visitors to Beale Park, going at least four times a year, as our toddler enjoys the park immensely. The animals are great: the lemurs are always a big hit as well as the mongooses, meerkats and marmosets. Our toddler isn't as...More
