Beale Park Wildlife Park & Gardens was founded in 1956 by Gilbert Beale who created the Child Beale Trust, a charitable organisation, dedicated to the care and conservation of rare and endangered animals and birds. Not only is Beale Park a charity, the Park is a great place to be with fun, adventure, gardens, amazing animals and birds and play parks - there's even a splash pool and miniature train!

Went here with wife, daughter, son in law and grandchildren, and had great day out. Lots to look at. Lunch very good at the cafe, and well priced.

There is so much potential here that just isn't fulfilled. Genuinely if it was half the price I would have given it 5 stars for value for money. But it's not. Ten pounds per adult seems so little, but the reality of walking around makes you wonder. They have a large amount of wonderful gardens tended for by a large... More

I've been going to this place since it was just 'The Peacock Farm', nearly 50 years ago. I've taken countless children and grandchildren since, and never had a bad experience. On my most recent visit, I went with a two year-old child. He loved everything we did. We arrived at around 10:30, and when we left at 16:30 there were... More

We had a great day here. Loved the little train ride and all the animals. Took lunch and there was plenty off places to sit and have lunch. The kids had a paddle at the end of the day to cool down.

£10 entry (inclludes a free train ride), is in my opinion very good value. The park is extremely well kept, there are a lot of climbing frames for kids, the restuarant is large, clean and of good quality for the prices they charge. There are a lot of animals for what it is (i.e. it's not London Zoo, but it's... More

First visit to Beale Park and had a fabulous day, which was made better by the sun shining. Plenty to see and do for the children, good cafe with decent priced food. Great play areas, sandpit area and swimming pool for the hotter days. Lovely birds and small animals to see, and a little train - children had a fabulous... More

A great destination for children. Having smaller animals like prairie dog, lama, peacock, parrots. Children really enjoy them. Have a toy train ride through the park for all ages. The same is included in your admission prices.
