Beloved by walkers, families, dog walkers, strollers, history enthusiasts, those who seek solitude and peace in a beautiful environment, Rivelin has something for everyone. The cafe and playground are popular all year round, by by following the path over the bridge and along the river you will soon find your own pace and space. The remains of old water mills... More

A good route for a walk or run down by the river. Easy route to take and you soon foget about being in a major town

My boyfriend and I fancied a change of scenery from our usual dog walk. Despite having to travel through the city centre to get there, Rivelin was definitely worth it. Lovely place for walks for all ages. Not too energetic and has a nice cafe. Interesting industrial features and references.

a wonderful valley reclaimed by nature with loads of history in between the trees, trickling water, mini water falls and old buildings

I have visited this area many times, and each is a pleasure. Gentle streams, the remains of an industrial past, and good walks. Plenty of parking, with car parks reasonably priced and interspersed through the area, it's definitely worth a visit.

Nice rural walk, close to the city, dog friendly, very clean and steeped in history (until Sheffield Council build a dam there)

Beautiful place lots of dog walkers around and nice cafe and toilets available but swings are a bit dated and not many benches around but overall well worth a visit :)

Great walking area just for a gentle stroll. No major uphills. Limited free parking is available at the dam.
