Such an enjoyable visit. The amount of thought that has gone into the displays is amazing. There are no fusty displays. The exhibits are thought provoking and interesting. The "arrivals" exhibition at the start of the visit is truly brilliant. You could easily spend a day here if you took in the gardens as well. The museum is right next... More

If you're playing Pokémon go you must got to Weston Park. Lures everywhere and its absolutely full of like minded people. If you don't play Pokémon go its still a really pretty park and the museum here is interesting and free

I visited the museum with my other half last year and it was very nice. Lots of interesting exhibits to see. A few bits were broken (the Little Rock push section where you can test your strength for example) but there was still lots to see and enjoy. Western park is also lovely in the summer. Overall if the damaged... More

A nice afternoon, well kept gardens and some really good displays indoors explaining about life in both war time and more recent times. My 83 year old mum really enjoyed it. I thought the large mural was great too.

It's quite a walk to this location so a tram might be advisable. The grounds were very well appointed and kept very clean.

Make sure you have something nice for them to nibble on as the pigeons, crows, ducks and small fish are ravenous at the best of times! If you really want the experience of being the bird lady from "Home Alone 2" - you'll be in raptures here. Stunning location and a well worthy walk round for a relax, to mingle... More

Really good entertaining 3 hours at Weston Park museum and gardens, good but expensive cafe/restaurant. Parking could be a problem on a nice day.

Weston Park is a pleasant open space within a few minutes walk from Sheffield Hospitals, Royal Hallamshire, Charles Clifford, Weston Park Hospital and Sheffield Childrens Hospital. If visiting any of these hospitals a walk round the park before or after the visit is recommended. There is a war memorial, a pond with water birds swimming around and several beautiful flower... We had a couple of hours spare while we waited for some test results from the Chrildrens hospital. So we went to the museum. Was very impressed with it. If you want a trip that only last a couple of hours, then you won't regret visiting here
