Really good entertaining 3 hours at Weston Park museum and gardens, good but expensive cafe/restaurant. Parking could be a problem on a nice day.

Weston Park is a pleasant open space within a few minutes walk from Sheffield Hospitals, Royal Hallamshire, Charles Clifford, Weston Park Hospital and Sheffield Childrens Hospital. If visiting any of these hospitals a walk round the park before or after the visit is recommended. There is a war memorial, a pond with water birds swimming around and several beautiful flower... We had a couple of hours spare while we waited for some test results from the Chrildrens hospital. So we went to the museum. Was very impressed with it. If you want a trip that only last a couple of hours, then you won't regret visiting here

Spent my childhood in there with family and friends. It has a band stand that's still in use during the summer months. Happy times.

Came to Sheffield to move our daughter into Uni and the day after decided to have a stroll around Weston Park before returning home. This is a very scenic oasis of calm within a big city, with plenty of benches and a very nice cafe and interesting museum within the the grounds. Well done to the council and groundsmen who keep this... More

Very peacefull place near the city. A perfect place to think, drink your coffe, read your book and mainly, to relax. You can just sit by the pool watching the ducks

This museum is very child-friendly with notable attention to detail aimed at drawing children into a variety of displays such as pre-historic wildlife, use of a microscope, art appreciation, anthropology, pure science, local history and cultures.

One of the jewel's in Sheffield. Delightful at any time of the year, but particularly stunning when the sun finally comes out from behind cloudier skies. You can spend a lengthy amount of time just taking it all in from the seating near the museum, people watching is also an enjoyable pastime from this vantage point. It's become the mecca... More

Friendly and varied museum. Local history, natural history, exhibitions and more. The kids enjoy coming back to this repeatedly. There are often activities in the holidays. My 12 year old was very keen to see the current WW1 exhibition. The Sheffield Herd has been great too
