My kids loved this place to be able try and find all the hidden animals. I didn't think they would enjoy it as much as they did.

You are inside safe from the elements. But the clever use of a glass makes it feel like its outside I especially love the way it is always changing . I've seen professional snooker players playing when the nearby crucibleis hosting snooker championships I have also enjoyed watching singing and dancing when the alzheimers society has been highlighting awareness week... Pleasant environment and interesting plants of ten supplemented by exhibitions, demonstrations etc. An oasis of calm within the city and a great place to eat your lunch.

A lovely, peaceful haven to get away from the January cold and sit in the warm, eat your sandwich in peace and watch the world go by

Part of a group of millennium buildings containing artist and craft outlets, art galleries and steel museum. The Winter Garden was (is) the largest enclosure of its type in Europe, containing, amongst other plants, established palms from many parts of the world. An agreeable hour or so an a cold damp winter day.

Have a walk through, feel relaxed, sit on one of the many benches & look at the various plants and trees. Go here on a romantic date, with a friend for coffee, or to peruse the little shops around it. Don't go to Sheffield without checking it out (as well as the adjoining Peace Garden); it's small, so won't take... More

Lovely and warm on a cold January Saturday morning. Beautiful flowers on the Bird of Paradise plant, a gardeners envy

I love the winter gardens and think its such a nice touch to Sheffield city centre. It's a nice place to visit if you have family up - particularly people who are into museums, art or independent shops. However, I don't think its somewhere you'd spend a whole day just a nice place to pop into. The shops and cafe... More

Situated at one end of the Millenium Gallery, this is an attractive place to rest an grab a coffee. Impressive palm trees and other tropical flora. Not sure you'd spend much time here, but certainly a passing-through attraction.

Mostly I use this as a thoroughfare rather than an attraction. It's a pleasant enough little place though it has an odd smell. The plants and such are nice but it's a little small and not exactly peaceful due to being a thoroughfare. It's not easy to chill out in. Perhaps more seating would make it a little better for...
