I've sat in every stand at Hillsborough over the years and it is a great venue with an amazing atmosphere, obviously best on the Kop. The view of the pitch is very good from almost all seats - but if you're going to sit on...More

What a terrible experience for Away fans at Hillsborough even still. No beer, no burgers, no choccy bars, no TV’s or news on the concourse and the rudest, most inefficient staff we’ve ever encountered at a public event. This must still be the worst footy...More

One of England's great old stadiums, a "proper" cathedral to football only let down by the catering in the away end. Not enough staff, food and beer need to be ordered in separate places and the pie was an overcooked monstrosity

Noah himself built Hillsborough. When he was drunk. An ancient eye-sore of a mismatched muddle of stands, sitting awkwardly alongside and upon one another. Not really a big club, but still has the draw to attract sentimental fools from surrounding towns. Have visited a fair...More

Hillsborough is a good sized football stadium with reasonable facilities. Night match with 25,000 attendance so not at capacity. Easy access in & out, long queues for food & drink, toilets could be better but adequate. Had seats high up in the north stand which...More

One of the remaining few tradional football grounds in England and home to one of the biggest and best clubs in England. (slightly biased view of course) Anyone visiting Sheffield should try and make it to Hillsborough for at least one game.

Taxi ride from the station left little change from £10. Away end right round the back, not the easiest place to find. Ground itself is OK, needs a lick of paint here and there. One long kiosk for away fans. But cant get alcohol and...More

Very poor and unhelpful staff - No atmosphere at all. Not really a place I would like to go again in a hurry. I am told this used to be a reasonable stadium ...... how things change

There's a fine line between old stadiums that are full of history and character in English football, and those that are just run down and shabby. This one certainly fits the latter description. This is based on my experiences sitting in both the home and...More

Hi I visited on a Sunday morning, had to walk to the memorial If you are visiting in the week I would check with the Football Club as there looked like there was one there, but it was closed to us. Good Luck
