Can't wait to go back. Fish and chips, sweets, ale, biscuits all as though they were from the era. Learn while visiting. Exceptionally reasonable entry fee if you buy the annual pass. Want to come again, great for kids and grown ups!

Probably the best historical site I have ever seen. Such friendly and extremely knowledgable staff made this visit a joy to see.

We visited this village in March. The volunteers were very knowledgeable. There were a couple of things that weren't operating or only a couple of times. For the money we paid it was lovely. The chips were wonderful. I feel in the summer this will be a great place to take the children.

Weekend away in Ironbridge with friends, started off here. There for opening time and wasn't too busy but youngish lad on front desk was very quiet, and as transpired later in the weekend, didn't explain all features of annual pass properly. The town itself is ok in parts. There were quite a few buildings that were closed up which was... More

Brilliant day! Started with a cup of tea in the coffee shop and spent about four hours looking round the village. Staff were all really helpful and knowledgable. Found the horse harnessing particularly interesting, only marred by the rude schoolchildren who came in near the end and chatted very loudly over the man giving the talk. Handled very well by... If you are genuinely interested in history and enjoy submersing yourself in a living environment, Blists Hill was the first living history town in the UK and I think rivals Beamish for top spot. Some of the infrastructure was originally there, but most of the buildings have been saved from demolition elsewhere and painstakingly reconstructed here, creating a network of... More

There's a lot of different buildings that you can nip into some with live demonstrations depending upon the time of day. £3 for the all day car park and £30 ish for two adults (child was free due to age). There's a couple of places to eat once inside and the prices are reasonable considering they have the captured market,... More

I purchased a season ticket for the year- I thought Great value at first. I have only been the once- when there are events on you can not use your annual pass! You have to pay like every one else. I heard the Fireworks display was not as it should have been so I am pleased I did not buy... More

I took my friend on visit last Saturday. On our way to south Birmingham, it was a big detour but we were both keen to see the town. I was last there in the 1980's and was really impressed. However, this time most of the shops and businesses were closed for lunch, just not open or undergoing maintenance. Only two... More
