This museum is located above the Buttercross which is a picturesque and historical building prominently located in town however when I visited I found that it was not open even on a Wednesday. At the moment I think it is only open on a Friday...More

It seemed a pity not to visit this museum while we were in Ludlow, but the collection is small, the displays unimaginative and we'd probably enjoyed spending more time at the nearbby Castle.

The museum is small but it has a nice collection of artifacts. It is only one pound to enter. The curator is a great guy to chat with. A must visit.

Very small museum, but also very small entry fee at only £1. It has some interesting things relating to the history of the town and area, including the 'Bitterley Hoard' and a wonderful Golden dagger pommel. There was also a temporary display about 80s videogame...More
