Our visit to Clee Hills reminded us of those 'dark satanic hills' and my wife thought the place was definitely very spooky. Back in the day the mines were employing over 2000 people to mine a special type of stone and I suspect quite a...More

Stumbled across this after reading previous reviews. You can drive pretty much all the way to the top where there's an active NATS compound next to two large golf ball radars! It was a nice day and you could see for many many miles all...More

Titterstone Clee is historically important. As an early warning station and a radar and listening establishment the 'golf balls' are clearly visible on the skyline from miles away. Lots of disused WW2 buildings as well as older quarry workings. Great views on a clear day...

Park up and roam a little at least. On the day that we went it was clear skies and we could see as far the cotswolds. Marvellous.

I would recommend you go out of your way to see this. Wow. We didn't know about this and came upon it by chance. It will take your breath away. Bring a picnic and/or booze.

I first came here when I was 12 I was amazed. I've since took my children & Grandchildren they all loved it. You can see for miles. Beautiful scenery and walking paths to enjoy for all.

You can see for miles once you reach the summit, but it is very windy! Not a huge climb at all if you park near the top. We did get caught out as someone had mentioned on here that you could walk it from Ludlow...More

Quite often at the summit you’re either in low cloud or sometimes even above low cloud... which is amazing, like being on an island! Best to go in bog standard British weather, just a white sky, to get the best of the... More
