We had a great afternoon on our Alpaca walk. The farm is in a beautiful setting with fabulous views. Caroline came to greet us and told us about the new baby cria they had who was only 4 days old! We could see from a distance and was already very mobile! We were introduced to our very knowledgable guides who explained how to handle and walk the 3 alpacas (1 each for us) and trainee 1 year old River (who had a few sit down protests along the way - which was hilarious!). We walked up the lane and around the field, which took over an hour in total, mainly due to the boys stopping to eat!! Which was fine and to be honest was great as we got to spend more time with them! We had a hands on session half way round where we could stroke them and take a few more photos, and then carried on back to the farm. We fed them pellets when we got back and spent more hands on time with them. They were so easy to feed, we didn’t feel their teeth at all due to the way their mouths are designed so if you’re worried about feeding them...there is no need to be! We were then taken round the farm to meet the other alpacas, which was really lovely! They all have different characters and are beautifully coloured. The staff were really knowledgable, they knew the names, ages of their flock and also about alpacas in general. We asked quite a lot of questions which they answered confidently. We then returned to the farm house where we had refreshments and cake and the opportunity to have a look in the shop and weaving workshop! We bought a souvenir and sat outside with our refreshments.
We all had a really great afternoon and would definitely recommend Clivewood Alpacas to everyone and will be back ourselves! Thankyou!

My wife and I visited Clivewood Alpacas for the alpaca walk .
We met the alpacas and then walked with them through a country lane and field with stunning countryside views . It was very peaceful and relaxing and the alpacas were a joy . Our guide was Julia and we learnt all about the alpacas from her as we walked . She was very pleasant company and and made the experience very enjoyable . We then returned the alpacas to their main enclosure and had the opportunity to meet many more of these lovely animals .
We would recommend Clivewood to anyone who is looking for a unique experience in a wonderful setting .

Amazing place and really well run. We were a group of 7 with 2 teenagers, 3 adults and 2 OAPs and we all had a great time. We were taken around by Lily and Nicole and both were incredibly passionate and knowledgable about alpacas. We all had a great time. Thanks very much.

Really enjoyed our experience walking and stroking the alpacas at Clivewood Farm. Our guide Maddie was lovely, so knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Firstly we walked the girls around the paddock then we went to visit the babies and the boys. We finished with coffee and cake in the cafe. A really lovely afternoon and would highly recommend.

Took part in "Weave a scarf in a day". Great tutoring, good company.
Plenty of guidance for a total novice at weaving and a fund of knowledge to be tapped. All set up so that you have a finished product to take home at the end of the day.
Well catered refreshments.
Lovely tour of the alpacas, and the fibre mill included.

Absolutely amazing it rained th3 entire time, but it didn't matter had a lovely time with my partner. We did the horse riding experience and afternoon tea. The experience was great, Beth the guide was great and the food was well worth the wait in the rain. I'll definitely recommend this place.

What an amazing experience this was. Apart from the rain, which we couldn't do anything about, it was a great day. My alpaca, Mead, had a lovely personality and we had become firm friends by the end of the walk. We then had a very welcome coffee and delicious cake before going out to feed the alpacas once the rain had abated. They are such lovely, friendly animals and we all had a brilliant time. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

50th birthday event for 12 friends. Organised via emails and Becci was very accommodating. The walk and stroking session was hugely enjoyable, the alpacas are very well kept and lovely. Our two young female guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone said it was the best part of our weekend. Highly highly recommend.

It was such a relaxing experience with very knowledgeable guides! We had a great time and forgot about all our worries for a time being. These fluffy animals are definitely worth a visit. All you care about is how to befriend alpaca, you get to learn about their character and surprise surprise-you get paired with the one that is the closest to your nature. It was just amazing.
