The city of Bath build a whole tourist trap machine around the Roman Baths, but in reality the visit inside is quite a letdown considering the price you pay and the hight expectations. Part of the problem is that the city center in itself is nice, but everyone and every media is "selling" you that you have to visit the... More

An extremely informative tour. Pick up the handheld tour guide on your way in which is included in the ticket price. It's ideal to give you just the right amount of info to follow without being information overload. We spent a couple of hours wandering around. I can't say the water tasting at the end was particularly pleasant! Overall good... More

I got here at 9:30 and was able to enjoy the experience with not many other people. I did think it was a bit overpriced for an hour but it was informative.

We visited here almost 20 years ago and the museum has been significantly upgraded since then. Thoughtful exhibition with free audio guide makes for a most interesting couple of hours. Highly recommended.

The baths are amazing. Beautifully reconstructed and it is so nice to be able to walk on the same paving stones the Romans did. The attached museum is also interesting with lots of Roman artefacts including some interesting gravestones and curses! Free audio guides available too to really make the most of your visit.

It was late in the day on our last day in Bath. We chose to start the tour anyway and I'm glad we did. The guides were knowledgeable and pleasant. They and the signage were very clear what was original Roman, Victorian reproduction, and modern restoration. The restoration excavation and restoration is still ongoing. Displays are well set up and... More
