Need to get out of the city. This is one of several places to do it. The views are great, especially around sunset and the walk is refreshing.

Walked up on a dull day, with virtually no one else around. Saw three pairs of skylarks. Met an informed walker who pointed out what we could see in the amazing vista, including the distant White Horse, as well as the city of Bath and...More

It can be a little tricky to drive and park to this place but it is a great stroll around. There are public footpaths that join up to this hill though. get out the OS Map.

Solsbury hill is the highest point in Bath. Or so i'm told. It's a nice enough hill but if your time in Bath it restricted i'd recommend going on a different walk. For locals, if you haven't climbed this thing, are you really a local?

Thanks to Peter Gabriel's song, decided to climb up solsbury hill and overlook the beautiful surroundings. Can see Westbury white horse and a little maze first made back in 1993 is still there!
