A peaceful meditative location during the day, not a place for children to be unattended. After dark the location becomes youthfully active

Worth visiting. Small, but nice for an afternoon walk, well kept with wildlife, pond and statues. Very close to town centre.

If feeling overwhelmed by hard city streets in beautiful Bath try slipping away to the Botanical gardens.About 10 mins walk from the city centre and never seem to be crowded

My husband and I got lost in here for an afternoon and it was very pleasant. There are lots of hidden areas that make you feel like your far out in the country as well as other meticulously cultivated areas. A lovely free garden.

Plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the weather but the flower beds need some work. We visited on a very sunny Sunday so it was very busy as there is a huge children's play and skate park adjoining the gardens.
