Lovely little garden with information about how the gardens would have been in the Georgian times. It's small and neat with panels explaining things, nice idea and somewhere off the beaten track.

In Gravel Walk behind the Circus and Brock Street this small but authentic garden recreates a Georgian garden. A little well worn in places but one of the few places you can see a town garden pre lawn mower. It is not a long visit...More

We were walking along The Gravel Walk when we noticed a couple of steps to a garden open to the public. Even in winter, it was a charming place to be, and I'm sure will be lovely when the flowers come out. Box shapes were...More

An absolute joy to discover this reestablished Georgian garden laid out just off the gravel walk trodden by Jane Austen.

Not easy to find as it's off the beaten track; but once there it is a quiet haven, although there's not a lot to see. But it gives an idea of what the city's gardens looked like in the past.
