Prior Park Landscape Gardens is a fantastically beautiful little escape just a few minutes walk from the bustling city centre. No matter the time of year these gardens are a lovely place to get away and escape to the peace and quiet. If you have the time for a small adventure i would definitely recommend going!

Prior Park Gardens just to the south of bath are really worth a visit. Accessible by car or by bus from the city centre they make a great half day visit. There are many winding paths and panoramic views throughout the gardens, lakes and bridges. Some of the paths are quite steep and will certainly stretch your legs. When we... More

A really lovely tranquil afternoon spent at these National Trust gardens. We are NT members so got in for free. The gardens are on quite a steep slope so may need to leave extra time for getting around but the outdoor tea rooms are a nice place to take a break.

Not huge but there's still a lovely walk to be had in the park with some beautiful views into Bath. The walk back into town from Prior Park is also a treat, taking you through some lovely areas of old housing.

We decided to visit Prior Park because we had joined the National Trust in Australia and the membership could be used in the UK, this was the first time we used our member cards. The gardens are a beautiful place to visit, just expect a lot of walking. We walked from our accommodation to Prior Park and then spent a... More

These are historic gardens. A unique and one of a kind in the world bridge is its main feature. It is a small garden overall and only people with good mobility will enjoy it fully. We use it mainly to walk from the top where the entrance is to the bottom on our way to the City of Bath, overall... More

A bracing walk on a winter's day but even in the mist it is a stunning place. Lovely cafe run by the NTS with a hand warming brazier, and lots of dogs to talk to. Lovely.

Really lovely place to visit with the children and dog. Steep walk to get back up but worth it for the view.

Wonderful and beautiful landscape gardens. The sun was shining when we went and made the whole scenery seem magical. Perfect for a leisurely walk (some hill climbing required) and a picnic.

Great facilities with clean toilets and snack bars at both ends of the park. Our hot berry cordial kept us warm for ages while we watched the huge amount of wildlife around the lake. Huge carp and little minnows along with small birds and other wildlife were amazing. There's large swings just past the bridge that entice most mums and... More
